University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center Welcomes Two Rainbow Pediatricians

3_staging_1inchELYRIA – University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center is proud to welcome two new Pediatricians to its roster: Carmen K. Hansford, MD, FAAP and Lynne Romero, MD, FAAP.  The physicians, who are with University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, have started a new practice called Elyria Pediatric Care, located within the Gates Medical Building adjacent to UH Elyria Medical Center.  Patients will be seen at this location starting April 2, 2014.

Drs. Hansford and Romero have been practicing in Lorain County for many years, and have built solid reputations for their knowledge, skill, and most of all, compassion for the children in their care.  Both physicians provide comprehensive pediatric care for infants and children through the teen years, and offer access to specialists at UH as well as Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Hansford is board certified in Pediatrics and completed a fellowship in addiction medicine at University Hospitals and a fellowship in neonatal perinatal medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center.  Dr. Romero is board certified in Pediatrics and completed her pediatric residency at New York Medical College.  Both physicians are members of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
