Bay Village Police: Indecent Exposure Reported

bay police logo 130121011959_bay-village-police-300x168Bay Village Police responded to a Vineland address on May 27 at 1755 hours on the report of male exposing himself to two teenage girls. The girls stated a male with short black hair, a round face and some facial hair drove past them as they rode their bikes down Vineland. As the male passed them he exposed himself. He did not stop or say anything to the girls. They described the car as a newer looking black 4-door vehicle. Police are investigating and ask anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact BVPD at 871-1234.

 

Driver Loses Control

On 06/01/2014, at 0056 hrs, a motorist called BVPD to report a vehicle had driven off of the roadway and into a field at the intersection of Lake Rd. and Clague. When officers arrived on scene, they located the vehicle about 100 feet off of the roadway resting against a tree. The female driver was unconscious and slumped over the steering wheel. Entry was forced into the locked vehicle, and after several minutes, the female regained consciousness. There was a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from within the vehicle, and the driver’s speech was slurred. The officer suspected she had been drinking and was impaired. The 23 yoa driver was transported to the hospital as a precaution. Once the Cleveland resident was released from the hospital she turned herself in to BVPD for processing. She will face charges for OVI at RRMC.

 

Face Down on Columbia Road Beach

On 06/01/2014, at 1125 hrs, BVPD responded to Columbia Rd. Beach on the report of a highly intoxicated male on the beach. When officers arrived, they located a male matching the description lying face down in the sand. He attempted to get up, but stumbled back down to the ground. Officers administered field sobriety tests, and as a result, the 40 yoa male was arrested for DC-I. He will face charges at RRMC.

 

Underage Consumption

On 05/30/2014, at 0220 hrs, a BVPD officer located a vehicle with 4-18 yoa males sitting in it parked in the St. Barnabus parking lot. After speaking with the occupants, the officer suspected they had been drinking. Field sobriety tests were administered, and as a result, they were all arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol. They will face charges at RRMC.

 

OVIs

On 06/01/2014, at 0054 hrs, a BVPD officer stopped a vehicle on Lake Rd. near Bradley for a traffic violation. After speaking with the 45 yoa male driver, the officer suspected the driver had been drinking. Field sobriety tests were administered, and as a result, the driver was arrested for OVI. The Bay Village resident will face charges at RRMC.

 

On 06/01/2014, at 2342 hrs, a BVPD officer stopped a vehicle on Bradley at Lake Rd. After speaking with the driver, the officer suspected the driver had been drinking. Field sobriety tests were administered, and as a result, the 45 yoa driver was arrested for OVI. The Avon Lake resident will face charges at RRMC.
