Westlake Schools “Pinwheels for Peace”

Dover, Hilliard and Holly Lane Elementary Schools joined Dover Intermediate School in “planting” pinwheels on their front lawns in celebration of International Day of Peace 2014 on Sept. 21. Pinwheels are labeled with students’ names and were created in art classes. The pinwheels are meant to create a visual public statement about peace.
