St. Edward High School’s theater company, The Edwardian Players, are presenting “1776” for their fall performance. The venue for the performances will be the Auditorium at St. Edward High School, 13500 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood.
“1776” puts a human face on the pages of history as we see the men behind the national icons: proud, frightened, uncertain, irritable, charming, often petty and ultimately noble figures determined to do the right thing for a fledgling nation. It’s the summer of 1776, and the nation is ready to declare independence…if only our founding fathers can agree to it!
Performance dates are:
Thursday, November 20 at 7:30pm
Friday, November 21 at 7:30pm
Saturday, November 22 at 7:30pm
Sunday, November 23 at 3:00pm
Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 216-221-0793, ext. 201 and are available at the door, based on availability.

The Edwardian Players include students from St. Edward High School, St. Joseph Academy and Magnificat High School. The Director of the show is Robert Burns and the Technical Director is John Goers.
