St. John Medical Center President and CEO William A. Young welcomed about 200 SJMC workers to last Thursday’s Milestone Celebration hosted at Avon Oaks Country Club.
In thanking the many in attendance for their years of service, Young commented that SJMC is performing at a very high level of excellence. He said that the main reason for the hospital’s performance is the commitment and professionalism of those that work there to bring today’s advanced technologies to the community with care and compassion. Sr. Judith Ann Karam, Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, joined with Young in recognizing the milestone employees.
Dr. Michael Adornetto echoed this same sentiments of appreciation as he recognized 10 year, 15 year and 20 year employees of Westshore Primary Care.
Margaret Cockburn, RN, was honored for 50 years of service with the hospital. She works in Preadmission Testing.
