First Federal Lakewood was looking good this month as their branch at 24441 Detroit Road in Westlake hosted the third annual Student Art Show featuring the works of Westlake High students.

A reception recognizing the artists was hosted Wed., Dec. 3, as branch manager Marie Marrali and Senior Vice President Paul Capka welcomed students.

Customers of the branch had a chance to vote on their favorite works for the month that the show was on display. Winner was Westlake High senior Madeline Lee, who accepted a special certificate of honor from Paul Capka. Capka also presented art teacher Kelly Atkinson with a check for $250 in support of Westlake High art programs.

“First Federal Lakewood is deeply rooted in the communities we serve and we’re so proud to recognize the achievements of our local artists as the sponsor of this event,” said Capka.

“Thank you to all the students and the Westlake High art department and also to our customers who took the time to vote,” added Marrali.
