Avon Matmen Crown Three

Avon High hosted last weekend’s SWC wrestling championships and took runner-up team honors behind Olmsted Falls as the Eagles crowned three champs in Tommy Sear at 120, Jack Gothier at 145, and Frank Rizzo at 152. Avon assistant coach Jeremy Johnson also took home a top award – the Coaches Award – in his first year with the program.

League champ is Olmsted Falls. The Bulldogs took charge this season with 9 individual champs led by three-time conference title holder Noel Caraballo (220).
