Cavs Star Iman Shumpert Supports SocksPLUS Campaign

Cleveland Cavs star Iman Shumpert helped distribute warm socks to the homeless along with Metanoia Project Director Norm Bringman two weeks ago. The pair joined forces in support of the SocksPLUS campaign, the Community West Foundation outreach program, at Malachi Center before moving on to St.Herman’s and St. Joseph on the near west side.

“Thank you, Iman Shumpert, for supporting our SocksPLUS Campaign for the Homeless at Community West Foundation. Thank you for being a leader with a generous heart!”

That is the word from Community West Foundation as the Cavs star walked the streets of Cleveland last week.

All across the near west side of Cleveland, Shumpert and Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless-NEOCH ventured into the blustery winter today to supply warmth to those who need it most.

Shump supplied his signature “Post 90” logo head socks to Clevelanders who battle the elements on the daily basis.
