Cuyahoga County Councilman Dave Greenspan will be hosting a Green Town Meeting on August 8th at 7 pm at the Fairview Park City Hall.
Green Teams are comprised of a group of volunteer residents who meet regularly to discuss sustainability issues within their communities. Green Team members work in collaboration with the Mayor and City Council to recommend, develop, and implement programs and policies that integrate eco-friendly practices into daily life.
The teams focus on areas related to transportation, waste management, water quality, local foods, energy conservation, and educating the public.
This Town Hall Meeting will present information on the County’s solar co-op program that provides an avenue for residents to purchase solar systems at a reduced price. The Department of Sustainability will also introduce Cuyahoga County’s Sustainable Toolkit that offers recommended best practices that are essential for maintaining the overall health of our communities.
All Cuyahoga County residents are encouraged to attend.
