Cleveland Metroparks are celebrating the park system’s 100 year anniversary with a series of special free events this summer. Things kicked off at Huntington Reservation on Sun., June 4, with a Swing Band Concert in the pavilion.
Guests enjoyed music, dancing and a great view of the lake as the sounds of the Swing Era came alive. The big celebration will be July 22 starting at 5 p.m. at Edgewater Beach of the Lakefront Reservation with a custom, choreographed fireworks and music spectacular at Edgewater Park marking the “eve” of Cleveland Metroparks 100th anniversary. The event is free to the public, and will showcase live local bands, food trucks and numerous outdoor recreation activities topped off by a stunning firework display overlooking the best views of the city.
