Avon Mighty Eagle Marching Band

Congratulations to the Avon High School Mighty Eagle Marching Band! Earlier this month, the band earned its second straight SUPERIOR rating at the OMEA State Finals in Class AA at Brunswick High School.

Last weekend the Marching Band attended the Bands of America Grand National Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The band posted their second-highest score in school history for a Bands of America event, along with the highest visual score in program history at a BOA event. The band placed ahead of 13 other bands in Class AA, and Class AA was the largest field out of all four competing Classes of bands.

Congratulations to the Marching Band on a landmark competition season of winning two OMEA Grand Championships at local events, a Superior at State and a historic finish at Nationals. It’s a great day to be an Eagle!!
