Normandy Care Center Honors Veterans

Chaplain Willie Springer of the Veterans Office honors those who have served at The Normandy Care Center.

The Normandy Care Center hosted a Veterans Day program on Nov. 29 presented by the Veterans Outreach Office of Berea.

It was a solemn and honorable ceremony as Chaplain Willie Springer, Outreach Coordinator of the Veterans Office, presented each veteran there with a certificate, a pin and a salute.

Joy Parrish accompanied with patriotic piano music as all were reminded of the contribution of each veteran to the freedom we all enjoy today.

“We believe that no veteran walks alone,” said Chaplain Saylor. His office offers several community based programs and connects veterans to assistance programs through national, state and local groups. Call them at (440) 973-4567.

Normandy Care Center veterans honored include: Nicholas Kap, Thomas Corley, Joe Schork, Mike Molnar, Nick Lesko, Caryle Mossman, Albert Sandorf, Donald Hertzer, Robert Bunsey, Leo Hellebrekers, Wayne ramsdell, Ray Fizer, Clark Moore, Dennis Fike, Richard Leusch, Chester Stasik, John Logan, Thomas McDonough, Nicholas Chapler, Rudolf Horbol and Gabor Kinal.
