Avon Lake Girl Scout Featured in Promo Video

As an Avon Lake High School freshman last year, Elisabeth Lendal decided to “spice” things up in the community. Through several years of involvement with CRS (Community Resource Services), she noticed the lack of seasoning available to the clients that this nonprofit serves. For her Girl Scout Gold Award project, Spices & More!, Elisabeth focused on CRS and its clients. As part of her project she collected over 1,185 spice bottles and produced a cook book for CRS’ clients. In recognition of her leadership skills, community involvement and the success of her Gold Award Project, she was asked to be the “face” of Girl Scouts of North East Ohio for her age group. Now a Sophomore at Avon Lake High School, Elisabeth continues to show great leadership skills and dedication to helping others by continuing her involvement with CRS and other non-profit organizations.
