The Fifth Annual Avon Fine Arts Extravaganza is scheduled for April 1-3 at Avon Isle, 37080 Detroit Rd. This is a district-wide art show and music event that features over 350 pieces of artwork from Avon students in grades K-12. The public is invited to attend the April 2 event from 4-8 p.m.

The schedule of events is listed below.

Monday, April 1 (6 to 8 p.m.) ~ the event includes the Participant Reception & Awards Ceremony, by invitation only

Tuesday, April 2 (4 to 8 p.m.) ~ the event includes the Open Gallery Showing, with community members welcomed to attend

Wednesday, April 3 (5 to 7 p.m.) ~ the event includes musical performances, by invitation only
