The Mercy Health Ministry is Proud to Re-Open its Avon Practice, Hosting an Official Dedication Ceremony, Food Drive and Open House
The new Mercy Health – Avon Primary, Specialty and Walk-in Care officially opened on Thursday, November 7.
Joining the already most comprehensive network of primary care access throughout Lorain County, the new Avon practice brings services back to families throughout Avon with physicians and access to a comprehensive network of care that ranges from the start of life to the end.
Services, in addition to primary care, include a rotation of cardiology, general surgery, neurology, endocrinology and pulmonology. Delivering on the promise of enhancing access and making health care easier.
During the open house, community members were encouraged to bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to a local Church in Avon, further extending the healing ministry of Jesus to those less unfortunate in our community.
Ribbon Cutting event speakers included Ed Oley, Market President, Mercy Health, Mayor Bryan Jensen Mayor, City of Avon, and Dr. Jose Mendoza, Mercy Health Avon Primary Care Physician.
The Community open house included food, beverages and tours of the new office space as well as a chance to meet the physicians and providers serving families within the community.
The site of the new Mercy Health – Avon Primary, Specialty and Walk-in Care is 1813 Nagel Road, Suite 500, Avon, Ohio.
