The Normandy, hosts a variety of events of interest to the community. Last week’s author event featured the quality, educational, inspirational speaker Maureen Schuler, Psy.D., and included a discussion of her latest book, “You Are a New Creation.”
Maureen Schuler, Psy.D. Began her career as a nun in a cloistered community. Following her faith and life’s path, Dr. Schuler decided to become a middle school teacher before stepping into her true calling in the field of psychology. After working as a clinical psychologist for 25 years, she is now retired and sharing her wisdom through her new book ‘You Are a New Creation’.
Inspired by the words of N.T. Wright, a retired bishop of the Church of England, he counseled that Christian endeavors should be directed toward justice and beauty. In her book, Dr. Schuler teaches us how to put that belief into subtle reality.
