Fairview Park Police report that, because of the national public health emergency and shutdown, criminal activity is down.
“Actual crimes are way down, at least currently,” reports Fairview Park Chief of Police in a note with his weekly Police Blotter report. “Call volume is also down. We are 400 calls less than the same time last year. Most of our calls now are MVA’s, Covid related, suspicious person, and service related calls.

A resident called police to report a fraudulent account taken out in his name. When applying for a loan, it was found that person(s) unknown had opened up a Discover business account in his name, with a currentbalance of $7000. The account originated in Vermont. Report taken, invest continuing.
