Girls Scout Troop 50784 spent time in Avon East’s new courtyard last week. These girls donated their crafted birdhouses, seed and garden decor – making this space even more beautiful! They are among over 550 volunteers who have helped make the Avon East Courtyard Garden come alive this summer. Thank you!
This final product (right) is what happens when a community comes together, donates money, services, products and time. Avon East Elementary now has an impressive courtyard that attracts butterflies and birds. Great example of community service and interactive education. Which school is next?
