Love-A-Stray Dog Rescue 20th Anniversary Big Splash Fundraiser

20th Anniversary Big Splash, Saturday, September 12th, 11a.m. to 3 p.m. at Avon Lake Municipal Pool, 32850 Electric Blvd. ALL Communities Welcome!

This event brings the community of dog lovers together for an epic swim party! The dogs, and people, have so much fun! Past Big Splash attendance has been remarkable with over 300 people and dogs attending throughout the day. The City of Avon Lake Parks and Recreation Department opens the gates to its Aquatics Center to help support Love-A-Stray after the regular pool season ends.

Online registration is open and the first 300 to register receives a FREE 20th Anniversary Big Splash T-shirt and Tennis Ball for their Dog.

Save money, and get early access by preregistering online! One Handler & One Dog – $20, Maximum of Two Additional Guests per Registration – $5 each, Maximum of One Additional Dog per Registration – $10.

Day of registration gate opens at 11 a.m.! One Handler & One Dog – $25, Maximum of Two Additional Guests per Registration – $10 each, Maximum of One Additional Dog per Registration – $10.

The Friends of the Lorain County Dog Kennel will manage the concession stand, offering hot dogs, pizza, and pop. All proceeds from the concession stand will be donated to the Friends of the Lorain County Dog Kennel. Avon Lake Animal Clinic will provide dog first aid, and Hollywood Feed – Avon, EarthWise Pet – Avon Lake, The Grateful Dog Bakery, and Camp Bow Wow Westlake will attend as vendors. Scoop 440 will also assist with cleanup duties.
