Avon Cheerleaders Place in Top 10 at Nationals!
The Avon High School Cheerleaders placed in the Top 10 for both Game Day and Traditional routines at the National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC) two weekends ago held at Walt Disney World Resort. The team was also able to explore Walt Disney World when not competing. Congrats to all 16 members of the team!
Moose’s Mission
Heritage Elementary Kids Who Care Club had an amazing opportunity to work in collaboration with Moose’s Mission throughout the month of January. Students raised $900, created over 70 dog blankets and were able to shop for items for local shelters. Moose’s Mission is a local non-profit (based in Avon) that provides blankets and toys for dogs in shelters and rescues.

Here’s a look at Avon High’s Wrestling Place Winners at last weekend SWC championships hosted by North Ridgeville High School. Avon took second to Elyria in the team standings.

The Eagles placed THIRD with a 139.50, breaking the school record AGAIN, and are headed to Districts as a team for the FIRST TIME in Avon history!! GO EAGLES!!
