Madeline Fisher is Westlake Police Employee of the Year

The Westlake Police Department recognized the 2022 Police Officer of the Year and 2022 Employee of the Year recipients on Wednesday, March 16, at Westlake City Hall.

Employee of the Year: Westlake Police Department employees selected Dispatcher Madeline Fisher as Employee of the Year, citing her tireless commitment and passion for helping those around her and in the community she serves. Police Chief Kevin Bielozer estimated that the amount of impact during her first year of service in the Westlake Police Department may be unmatched.

Officer of the Year: Detective David Carney was named Police officer of the Year by his colleagues for his outstanding work ethic, leadership qualities and reputation as a subject matter expert. He has spent 29 years serving the Westlake community and earned the respect and admiration of all of his peers.
