Avon Safety Fair is a Hit

Hundreds of kids and families turned out to enjoy the annual Avon Health & Safety Fair at the Avon Aquatic Center last Saturday.

Better than ever, kids enjoyed seeing close-up the Avon Fire Department Hook & Ladder plus other safety equipment. Child IDs were offered by Avon Police, and the Lorain County Sheriff Department had vehicles and demonstrations. There were many health and wellness exhibits, musical entertainment and tons of giveaways including ice cream and other yummy delights.
