Westview Elementary School (Avon Lake) held an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, Dec. 9 for the new Inchy the Bookworm’s Book Vending Machine. Thank you to all of the students, parents, families, community members, and Marco’s Pizza for supporting and donating towards Westview’s Read-A-Thon. Through the support, Westview purchased the book vending machine to help students get excited about books and reading. Westview Elementary School’s librarian, Betty Butts, was instrumental in organizing and leading the Read-A-Thon and bringing ideas to the school to foster the love of reading.
