O’Neill Healthcare Celebrates 60 Years with Proclamation, Open House in City of Bay Village

Bay Village Mayor Paul Koomar, John A. O’Neill and John T. O’Neill

O’Neill Healthcare celebrated 60 years serving the Bay Village and surrounding communities on May 18 and 19 with events for the staff, residents, residents’ families, medical professionals, and government officials that made this milestone possible.

The private party and open house featured live music, games, activities, food/drinks, prizes, and tours of the newly renovated facility.

A proclamation given by Mayor Paul Koomar recognized the milestone stating, “The O’Neill family has proven not only to be companionate to their residents and their families but good neighbors and a vital part of the Bay Village community.”

A veteran of WWII, John O’Neill was a home builder in 1962 when he built Bradley Road hospital, which led to the start of O’Neill Healthcare. Over the next 60 years, the three generations of the O’Neill family have continued to focus on maintaining the highest quality care while managing to expand to 6 locations, employing nearly 900 staff members today.
