Great Year for Shoregal Wrestling
The Avon Lake Shoregals wrestling team qualified 5, along with one alternate, for this week’s Findlay District Tournament
Sectional Milestones:
Mallory Zadel becomes Avon Lake Girls Wrestling first two time sectional champion.
Rejan Alhashash becomes the first to record 125 pins for Avon Lake Girls Wrestling.
All 7 girls that competed at sectionals finished 6th or better. Top 4 from each weight class qualify for the District Tournament automatically.
Results: Destiny Cabot 2nd. Mallory Zadel 2x Champ, Bianca Craig 4th, Bridget Carbaugh 6th, Abby Evans 5th, Rejan Alhashash 2x Champ, Lola Seoane champ. The team finished 4th out of 25.
