Recently, Concord Reserve welcomed local police and fire departments for the third annual Safety Forces Appreciation Lunch—an opportunity to thank the heroes who serve and protect our community every day. Associates and first responders came together over a thoughtfully prepared meal, good conversation, and lots of smiles.
Around 50 people from the City of Westlake attended the event, including several first responders who play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and well-being of our community.
The Concord Reserve culinary team, led by Chef Roe Betancourt, brought creativity and care to the table, serving up a flavorful lunch with artful touches that made everyone feel celebrated. The spirit of appreciation was felt throughout the room, and laughter was shared at every table.
Chris Klawitter, executive director of Concord Reserve, expressed heartfelt gratitude to each honored guest.
“It’s our honor to host the City of Westlake leaders and first responders,” said Chris. “We are all fortunate to belong to this thriving community, are thankful every day for the service we receive, and are proud to stand alongside our heroes.”
Adding a beautiful and unexpected layer to the event was a resident watercolor art gallery. The talent on display was extraordinary—from bright florals to serene seascapes—and it reminded everyone of the joy, creativity, and stories that live within our community.
