First Responder Trunk or Treat Draws Thousands to Crushers Stadium

The 5th annual First Responders and Community Trunk or Treat at Crushers Stadium in Avon last Saturday drew thousands of young ghosts and goblins to the stadium parking lot where dozens of Halloween-decorated police vehicles were manned by officers who shared treats with the kids.

Some of the forces on hand included departments from Avon, Avon Lake, North Ridgeville, Ohio Highway Patrol, Ohio Dept of Natural Resources, Wildlife Control, the City of Lorain, Olmsted Falls and many more. It was a great day to meet Northern Ohio’s finest law enforcement officers, medics, firefighters & more, dance to awesome beats from a DJ, and of course load up on candy! In all, 30 departments took part.
