Westlake City School District is proud to share that Superintendent Dr. Scott Goggin was honored this week with the 2025 Exemplary Leadership Award from the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA).
The award was presented during the BASA Awards Luncheon at the organization’s annual Fall Conference at the Hilton Polaris in Columbus, Ohio. Selected by a panel of his peers, Dr. Goggin was recognized for his innovation, professionalism, and commitment to students, staff, and the community.
The Exemplary Leadership Award honors administrators who make a meaningful difference through their vision, character, and service, while inspiring colleagues across Ohio.
“I am honored to receive this recognition, but it truly belongs to the entire Westlake community,” Dr. Goggin said. “I am fortunate to work alongside an outstanding administrative team, dedicated teachers and staff, talented students, supportive families, and a Board of Education committed to excellence. Any award I receive reflects their hard work and dedication.”
