Step back in Time at Rose Hill for the Holiday Season

Step back in time to experience Christmas past at the Rose Hill Museum in Bay Village’s Cahoon Memorial Park.

The Bay Village Historical Society is inviting Bay Village residents and children of all ages to join them in celebrating an old-fashioned community Christmas on three Sundays and three Saturdays in December.

Additionally, this will be the 13th year that Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus travel through the streets of Bay Village aboard a fire truck. On Sun., Dec. 7, they will leave from the Bay Lodge on Bradley Road at 2 p.m. and will arrive at the Cahoon Memorial Park gazebo for the holiday tree lighting ceremony around 4:30 p.m.

Rose Hill Museum will be beautifully decorated for the holiday season. There will be a model train display. Rose Hill Museum will be open free of charge on Sundays, Dec. 7, 14, and 21, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays, Dec. 6, 13, and 20, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Museum guides will be dressed in period costumes.

The Bay High Choraleers will be performing at the Rose Hill Museum on Sun., Dec. 7, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The museum gift shop will be open and stocked with signature Bay Village gifts. Make a visit to Rose Hill Museum and the Bay Village historic district during the Christmas season a part of your holiday tradition.
