Bay Village Tree Conservancy came on strong last weekend with its first wave of plantings for 2026. The campaign seeks to answer the loss of the city’s tree canopy over the years.
“A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who got their hands dirty, worked through classic Cleveland weather, and helped make these plantings happen. And thank you to our Bay neighbors who purchased trees and made a commitment to restoring and protecting our city’s tree canopy,” says BVTC rep Joanne McDonald.
The Conservancy sold out of trees in this wave of plantings but more are coming. They will be out again next weekend. Truly a celebration of the power of community.
