Statewide Instrument Donation Drive at Bay High School

Do you have an instrument sitting in a closet, gathering dust in a basement, or waiting in an attic? We have great news, and the perfect place to send it.

Bay High School is proud to be an official drop-off location for Music Matters Ohio, the statewide initiative dedicated to putting gently used and new instruments into the hands of Ohio students who need them most. Countless young musicians are ready to learn–they just need the tools to do it.

Here’s how you can help: Saturday, May 30, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Bay High School

Accepted instruments include band, orchestra, and other musical instruments in playable or repairable condition. No pianos or organs. All donations go directly to Ohio schools and students.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to make music education more accessible across the state. Whether it’s a trumpet from high school, a violin that hasn’t been played in years, or a clarinet your child has outgrown, it can make a real difference in a young person’s life.
