Westlake Fishing Derby

The annual youth fishing derby is for kids ages 12 and under will be May 18 from 9 a.m. – Noon. Cost is $10 per child and includes bait and prizes (while supplies last). Kids must bring their own equipment and a parent/guardian must be present. Contact the Recreation Center for more details at 440-808-5700.

Howl at the Moon

On Monday, June 17 at 7 p.m. bring your furry family to our 3rd annual dog walk! Meet adoptable dogs from the local rescues, enjoy an ice cream treat, play, run and enjoy other activities, all while entering pet friendly raffles from local vendors. Bring donations of pet food and supplies for extra raffle entries! All proceeds to benefit the Westlake K-9 Unit. Register by June 14, cost is $2 per person.

Westlake Corporate Challenge

Are you looking for an excellent team building event? Perhaps an opportunity to socialize and interact with your staff along with over a dozen Westlake companies? The annual City of Westlake Corporate Challenge is your ticket to six days of laughter and fun!

From July 30 – August 1 and August 6 – 8, teams will compete in 20+ events including sand volleyball, bocce ball, pickle ball, golf, a 5-K run, scavenger hunt, bowling, laser tag, and much more. The entry fee is $600 per team and allows your team to compete in every event within the Challenge. Registration packets are available at the Westlake Recreation Center and our website.
