Duck Tape Festival Returns

For the first time in three years, the summer staple known as the Duck Tape Festival returned to Avon last weekend.

The Avon Heritage Duck Tape® Festival was live and in-person at its new location on the grounds of Avon’s Mercy Health Stadium. With the theme of “Knock It Out of the Park,” this all-ages event highlighted another American classic, baseball, with thousands of Duck Tape® enthusiasts expected to attend the three-day festival on the grounds of Mercy Health Stadium, a brand-new location for 2022.

“It’s been three years since our last in-person event, and we can’t wait to welcome Duck Tape® fans from all across the country back to Avon for this very special festival,” says Bill Kahl, executive vice president of marketing with Shurtape Technologies, LLC, the company that markets Duck Tape®. “Though our event will be on a slightly smaller scale this year than in years past, there will be plenty of fun to be had, including what makes our Festival unique – hand-crafted Duck Tape® sculptures, Duck Tape® crafting, live music and more.”
