Avon Garden Club May Meeting

Are you interested in learning more about flowers and flower farming? We have the perfect program to help you do that. Meghan Wingenfeld, owner of Wild Fox and Flower, will present “Trail to Success with Farm Fresh Flowers” on Tuesday, May 15, at 7 p.m. Ms. Wingenfeld will discuss how she created her floral business where she offers fresh, in season, and sustainably grown flowers. In offering a business where “Clevelanders can get to know me, their farmer” Ms. Wingenfeld has been, and continues to be, innovative. On her family farm, Canal Corners Farm and Market, Ms. Wingenfeld grows all the materials used in the bouquets and arrangements retailed at this not-just-your-normal florist. Unique and valued aspects of Wild Fox and Flower include its promise that “orders will always be free of chemicals, delivered within 48 hours of harvest, and never imported or purchased from an unknown source.” Come join us in the Orchid Room at Miller Nature Preserve at 2739 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011 for this program.
