On August 4, 2013, a Forestview resident reported someone entered her home and stole a bottle of liquor.  She observed the perpetrator running down her driveway and away from her home.  The liquor bottle was later found broken on Russell Road.  Police are investigating.

Bay Village officers were called to the Russell and Upland area on August 4, 2013 at 11pm on the report of an adult female walking the neighborhood crying and screaming.  The woman, who attempted to avoid detection by hiding, was located and found to be intoxicated.  She was arrested for intoxication and taken to the Bay Village jail where she was uncooperative and held until she was sober.

On August 7, 2013 a Lake Road resident reports a disoriented woman walked into her home.  Police located the female and contacted a relative to pick her up.  No charges were filed.

On August 8, 2013 a resident reported debris in the roadway on Osborn.  Officers found cones, metal pipe and various other materials blocking the roadway.

A resident in Cashalmara reports two kayaks were abandoned behind the condominium complex for the last two weeks.  Officers brought the kayaks back to the police station as found property.

On August 8, 2013 at 5:38pm, a resident reported two suspicious males wearing camouflage clothing walking eastbound on Lake Road.  Officer located the two males who were hiking across the state.

On August 10, 2013 at 8:15pm, a Bay Village officer stopped a vehicle on Dover Center.  The male driver was found to be wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office on four felony counts.  He was turned over to the Sheriff’s Department.

Officer on patrol at midnight on Augusst 11, 2013 heard fireworks in the area of Reese Park.  A group of four was located with a vehicle and cited for curfew.  Additional fireworks were located and confiscated.

A Bassett Road resident called police at 11:58pm on August 11, 2013 to report two kids just threw beer cans at his home.  Officers located two males on Saddler.  One of the males was arrested for underage consumption.  Other charges are pending further investigation.

Police received a report on August 12, 2013 at 5am of loud music coming from a home on Knickerbocker Road.  Officers located a male passed out in the back yard of the residence.  The resident was cited for disturbing the peace.
