Man Targets Underage Girl in Rocky River

Rocky River Police report that a man was arrested for attempted rape on No.v 14 just before midnight. The officer stopped a vehicle driven by a 27 year old male for expired and fictitious plates.  While speaking with the man, the officer observed a juvenile female in the car who appeared very young.  The officer also smelled freshly burned marijuana.  Through investigation it was learned that the man had met the 15 year old online and had planned on smoking marijuana with her and then engaging in sexual contact after he picked her up. Charges followed for Attempted Rape, Disseminating Matter Harmful To Juveniles, Expired License Plates, Fictitious License Plates, Drug Possession, and Drug Paraphernalia.

Old Detroit Drug Bust

A man arrested for selling narcotics to an individual in the Old Detroit area of Lake Road on Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. He was charged with Drug Trafficking and Drug Possession.

Menacing

A resident reported that a neighbor repeatedly pounds on his ceiling or wall whenever her or her baby makes noise.  The man was then overhead telling another person that the next time anyone came to his door he would shoot them in the head.  The resident asked the man what he meant and he said he would shoot her father in the head.  The man was arrested for aggravated menacing. The incident took place at Wooster and Telbir on Nov. 19.
