MetroHealth Opens at Crocker Park

“We want people to know that there are more than just two health care providers in the Cleveland area. When people think of MetroHealth, they usually think of MetroHealth trauma care, which is the best. But MetroHeath is also much more.” Medical Director Jeffrey O. Galvin, MD, MetroHealth at Crocker Park

To expand health care delivery to more residents of Cuyahoga County, The MetroHealth System has opened a new health center at Crocker Park in Westlake.

Medical Director Jeffrey O. Galvin, MD, joined with staff in welcoming about 300 guests to a community open house Saturday, Aug. 1.

“We want people to know that there are more than just two health care providers in the Cleveland area,” said Dr. Galvin. “When people think of MetroHealth, they usually think of MetroHealth trauma care, which is the best. But MetroHealth is also much more.”

MetroHealth at Crocker Park opened July 13 and offers primary care, plastic and cosmetic care, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, sports medicine, pain management, and other specialty services and imaging.

MetroHealth at Crocker Park is located on the third floor above Brio Tuscan Grille. Housed in an office space of approximately 8,500 square feet, this location – 38 Main Street, Suite 300 – also offers MetroExpressCare services.

Dr. Galvin reports that services previously offered at the Westlake Health Center – located at 24700 Center Ridge Road, as well as those at MetroHealth Premier Health Center, located at 25200 Center Ridge Road – have been consolidated into the new Crocker Park location.

“MetroHealth has been serving the Westlake area for a long time with four separate Westlake locations,” said Dr. Galvin. “The Crocker Park office centralizes MetroHealth’s presence and offers better coordination and availability of care in one prominent community center.” Electronic records are also compatible with other health systems and easily shared between all offices.

How to Find MetroHealth at Crocker Park: To enter off Main Street, use the free valet parking on Main, between Journeys and Brio Restaurant (if you reach the roundabout, you’ve gone too far).
