The Southwestern Conference Hockey Tournament title belongs to North Olmsted High as the Eagles of N.O. topped the Eagles of Avon, 4-1, in the tournament championship game at the North Olmsted Recreation Complex Monday.

Now 19-3. North Olmsted reclaimed the SWC title after a 5-year drought. The win puts a feather in the cap of the Eagles, who are fashioning a memorable season with an 8-0 mark in SWC play. It was a hard-fought win over a feisty Avon squad that is 16-6 this winter. N.O. goals were scored by Kyle Sukenik, Zach Servidio (2) and Shane Malinak. Avon was paced by a score from Shane Docherty.
