Westlake Police: Can You Identify this Armed Robbery Suspect?

Westlake Police are seeking assistance in learning the identity of an armed robbery suspect who struck a Convenient Store on Detroit Road.

On Friday 10/12/18 at approx. 10:22PM WPD received a call from the clerk at the Convenient Store on Detroit at Dover Center Rd. The clerk reported that he had been robbed at gunpoint. The male suspect had entered the store and brandished a handgun while demanding cash.

The clerk complied and was unharmed as the male fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as heavier set, 6′ tall or under and weighing approx. 180-220 Lbs. He had a black beard and mustache and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, possibly a dark stocking cap and dark pants. The suspect fled in an unknown direction. Pictures of the suspect from surveillance cameras are attached.
