Each fall Avon High School offers students who are not currently enrolled in the Avon Schools the opportunity to shadow at Avon High School. Shadowing is recommended for students in eighth-grade and beyond who are considering Avon High School for the 2019-2020 school year.
We offer four shadowing opportunities during the school day on Thursdays during the month of November (Nov. 1, 8, 15 and 29).
Students must register in advance for their Shadow Day. There are a maximum of five students per shadow day based on date and time of their registration. If a Shadow Day does not appear as an option in the Google Form, that day is already at capacity. There are no waiting lists for shadow days.
Each Avon High School Shadowing Day starts at 8:20 a.m. and ends at 2:45 pm. Students should enter and leave through the Student Services entrance.
Students should bring a book, a notebook, a pen/pencil, and either a packed lunch or approximately $5 to purchase a lunch.
