Supporting Your Child’s Mental Health

A special meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7 at 7:00 p.m. and hosted by Avon Middle School in the Media Center, 3445 Long Road.

Amanda Divis (MSSA, LISW-S, LICDC) will be speaking on the topic of “Supporting Your Child’s Mental Health.” Materials to be covered include (but are not limited to):

• Awareness of the latest cultural trends…
• Understanding the hidden pressures that children face…
• Dealing with anxiety and depression, and what to do…
• How to support your child’s emotional struggles…
• Alert signs for parents to be aware of…

This informative free session is about an hour long and free for all to attend. There will be a time for Q & A. Bring a friend on 11-7-18, along with a pad of paper and a pen.
