Rocky River HS Academic Challenge Team Posts Perfect 6-0 Mark in GLC

The Rocky River High School Academic Challenge team posted a perfect 6-0 record in the Great Lakes Conference and is now eligible for regional competition for the second straight year.

The North Coast Ohio Academic Challenge Regionals will be held on April 6.

Rocky River hosted six other GLC schools – Bay, Fairview Park, Holy Name, Lutheran West, Padua and Vermilion – in a round robin tournament every Tuesday after school in February.

The Pirates won all of their matches, including a tournament-high 132 points in the victory over Holy Name.

The Academic Challenge advisor is RRHS physics teacher Mr. Brian Frew.
