In Remembrance

Avon Lake High students gathered with community members on the front lawn of Anchor Church (across from Erieview Elementary School) in a prayer vigil for the Hull family.

The tragedy affects the community deeply. The service included prayers for all touched by the loss, including:

  • The Hull family, that their loved ones find comfort as they mourn and search for answers;
  • Teachers, coaches and counselors, those that taught the boys in any setting, especially the staff of Erieview.
  • Children that knew them, that they find comfort and adults in their lives to answer questions and provide reassurance.
  • First responders, that those on scene and investigators may make sense of what happened.
  • Those in need of help, that all in difficult or stressful situations would reach out for help and find friends and neighbors who notice their need.
  • The community, that we all could love our neighbor and share the belief we have in Jesus.

The service concluded with the singing of Amazing Grace and in invitation for all to stay and pray in their own personal way.
