The Westside Healthcare Organization and UH St. John Medical Center combined to present their Annual Senior Resource Fair at UH SJMC on Nov. 3.
A busy crowd of seniors and also healthcare professionals provided a steady stream of guests who visited the many information stations on hand for the event. It was an excellent opportunity to learn about the newest resources in our community. The invitation to participate also attend went to local resources including healthcare information, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, in-home care, support groups, health and wellness, and more. Every resource was allocated a table to present their information. The event was free and provided all with light refreshments and many giveaways.
“We thank all who participated and also attended this wonderful chance to learn more about the many, many resources available in our community,” said UH SJMC Director of Community Outreach Paul Forthofer. “We are always grateful to welcome one and all here at UH SJMC, and we thank each and every participant and guest.”
