Get Involved in a Community Effort to Fight Hunger!

Fall is soup season! Do you love soup as much as we do? Join us on October 21 for delicious soups from over 20 local restaurants! Not only will you enjoy unlimited soup, but you’ll also take home a beautiful handmade pottery bowl, all while supporting local food banks.

Saturday, October 21 • 11am – 2pm

Avon Lake High School Commons (175 Belden Rd)

$25 DONATION (includes pottery bowl and unlimited soup and bread). Children that accompany a $25 donor may participate in the event for a reduced donation of $5 for ages 6-12 and free for 5 and under. The reduced donation includes unlimited soup and bread but does not include a handmade pottery bowl.

Live Entertainment by Avon Electric Orchestra and Put-in-Bay’s Johnny Martens.

Silent Auction: Over 80 baskets and packages including an autographed Nick Chubb jersey, Paintball party for 10, Browns tickets, Splatter Painting, theater tickets, Guardians tickets, overnight package at Put-in-Bay, local handcrafted jewelry, and so much more!

Pottery bowls made by local potters and students from 13 area schools.

Raffle: 2 tickets to Browns vs Cardinals game (donated by Mazzella Companies) AND a Charcoal Grill (donated by Lowe’s of Avon)

All proceeds donated to Second Harvest Food Bank, CRS, LCCC’s Commodore Cupboard & other local food banks.

The mission of Empty Bowls by the Lake is to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger in our neighborhood. We are dedicated to creating positive and lasting changes through the arts, education, and projects that build community.
