Tri-C Westshore Holds Second Annual Bark Walk

Oct. 28 Event to Feature 1-mile Hike, Halloween Costume Contest

If you’re looking for some paw-some fall fun, wag on down to the second annual Bark Walk at the Westshore Campus of Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Nearly 100 dogs and their humans celebrated their love of all things fall and pups at last year’s inaugural Bark Walk.

Participants can register on Eventbrite. The walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. with an accessible, guided 1-mile hike through Westshore’s natural preserve and campus grounds. After the walk, pups will walk across a stage to receive doggie diplomas. Other activities include a Halloween costume for pets and humans, pet- and fall-themed face tattoos, caricatures of humans and their four-legged friends and snacks.

“Last year’s event was such a blast that we couldn’t wait to get started this year,” said Westshore Campus President Scott Latiolais. “People came up with some hilarious and creative costumes last year. It’s great to be able to open Westshore’s doors for events like this.”
